Dance Hall (1941)


 In 1941 Carole starred in the  musical romance Dance Hall, She plays Lily Brown, beautiful lounge singer who helps a songwriter and falls in love with her boss. Carole was under contract at 20th Century Fox when she made this film. This was the first time she co-starred with Cesar Romero who would become one of her closest friends. The cast includes June Storey, William Henry and Charles Halton. Carole sings several songs including "There's Something In The Air" and "There's A Lull In My Life". Dance Hall was directed by Irving Pichel. It has been released on DVD and you can watch some scenes from the movie here ...
